Tonight's the first football game of the FWISD season and for the first time in four years, we're not there. I'm a little bit sad about that...

    The first year after my youngest graduated when I would drive by the high school I'd feel a sense of sadness, but I'm at year two now and what I feel is gratitude and nostalgia.
